I’d love to have a conversation about how we might be able to do something cool together. No pressure, no hard sells, just a conversation. I’m only in this to help. So if I can’t help, or once we get started and it’s not a great fit, no worries. I’ll try my best to point you in a direction that might work better. Here are a few areas to consider…
Speaking
I have had the opportunity to speak at a wide variety of venues and to various audiences. I have shared in church services, music festivals, fundraising banquets, and other special occasions. I have taught classes on finances, marriage, theology, and practical ministry. I have been a lead communicator to interim speaker to teaching team member to fill in guest speaker.
Group Life
Since the mid 1990’s, I have been an advocate for group life believing it’s a catalyst for spiritual growth and life change. Right out of high school, I started a youth group and seven small groups at three university campuses in Moscow, Russia. I have worked with several church plants utilizing small groups. Between 2005 to 2008, I provided administration for a large church group life ministry with over 110 small groups. Over the last decade, I have facilitated groups in a wide variety of environments and through various approaches.
Missions
Over the last twenty years, I have been involved in church ministry throughout Indiana and Missouri. I have also had the privilege to serve in the Dominican Republic, Russia, Mexico, the inner city of St. Louis, and India. Heather has studied, served, or taught in Chile, Ecuador, Spain, Turkey and Azerbaijan. Both of us have a heart for missions and facilitating cross-cultural experiences and trips.
Events
Over the last decade, I have had the opportunity to lead and direct small and large events. Between 2013 to 2015, I facilitated a large multi-day Christian music festival at the Boone County Fairgrounds outside of Northwest Indianapolis. During this time, I worked with 50 plus artists, 60 plus sponsors and vendors, and major marketing in the Indianapolis area. During a three year period, over 5,500 people attended this event.
Non-Profit Organizations
I have served on the Advisory Boards for Indiana Adult & Teen Challenge and the Witham Family YMCA. I also served as a chaplain and the chair for the Christian Emphasis Committee at the Witham Family YMCA.
Business Life
For the last decade, I have balanced business life and church ministry. Between 2010 to 2016, I was a bi-vocational pastor working with a revitalization church. Since 2016, I have managed our family business with 115 apartments, managing the reconstruction of 15 buildings that took a direct hit from a tornado, assisting in another building project of an 8 unit facility, and managing our 140 acre farm.
