Open mouth . . . insert foot. Don’t we all wish we could avoid that scenario? Our words can get us into all kinds of trouble. They can beat us down or lift us up. They wound and they heal. And the right words at the right time can be exactly what we need to hear—or what we need to say. Is it possible for us to learn to keep our big mouths in check? In this message on criticism, we will explore the power of our words and learn to leverage them in the right way. We tend to be the most critical when we’re the least secure.  It’s easier to find fault in someone else than it is to be honest with ourselves.  But Jesus followers focus on building hope not finding fault.
